About Me

I started my professional career as a fashion designer, then become a full-time visual artist.  Now I split my time between art and yoga.  I studied art at Emily Carr University of Art and Design.  I recieved my 200 hour yoga teaching certification from the Yandara Institute in Mexico, my 300 hour advanced teaching certificate at the Vancouver School of Yoga and my 80 hour hot yoga training at Yyoga in Vancouver.

Yoga is my constant reminder to practice patience and understanding for when things don’t go my way or my body doesn’t move the way i want it to.  In my yoga classes I encourage my students to fine-tune their intimate connection to their body, with freedom of movement and breath, fluidity, and alignment.

In my art classes I encourage students to be free, not think too much about it, and let their instinct guide.

My goal as a yoga teacher and art teacher is to have students leave class feeling uplifted with an increased sense of well being. My personal goals are to stand tall, move ease-fully, and act with kindness and consciousness in my everyday life... then splash a little colour around.
